Today was my encounter with a female in the men's room. Apparently not related to any LGBT matters. Went to the men's room to use the urinal. One urinal, one commode in a stall with stall door. The commode stall formed a wall at one side of the urinal, the other side was open, adjacent to the sink. No way to overlook the urinal when entering the room.
Someone was in the stall, making some rustling noises. I started my business, heard the stall door open and a female voice; "I think you are in the women's room". Stopping midstream for me is not quick nor always completely effective-- so I continued my business and said nothing. Saw that she was an elderly Black woman. She left without further comment.
Probably she was confused or had some mental issue.

PBS, not opposed to the GLBT agenda, aired a POV program : From This Day Forward about a husband/father who declared as a female. But he continued to live with this wife, having normal intimate relations. AND he dressed as a woman part of the time, as a man at other times.
So the possibility is that he/she/it would be in both types of toilet facilities if the activists have their way.
And the Charlotte ordinance required removing gender designations from public facilities.

Why does North Carolina need any state law protecting from employment discrimination when aggrieved workers can simply sue under federal law, particularly Title VII?The easiest answer without getting into the weeds is this: a plaintiff can sue in federal court for sex or race discrimination in employment in 50 states. But 48 of the states thought it was also important to create a public policy and a right to sue for violation of that policy in their states as a matter of moral, social, and economic justice and to signal to their citizens the importance of tolerance and diversity, and nondiscrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, sex, and religion in their states. You would think the importance of that law under North Carolina policy would be obvious to any public official and any citizen of this state in the year 2016.

Does HB 2 eliminate all existing state law remedies for women from being demoted, transferred, or terminated from their job because of their sex?Yes.

Did HB 2 overturn and eliminate all existing local authority to enact minimum wage standards for public-sector contractors in their community?Yes. Section 2.1 of the bill expressly states so.

Does HB 2 now require, in multiple-occupancy public bathrooms, that transgendered males, who were born female but now exhibit fully male characteristics and who have not or cannot change their birth certificate, use female restrooms?Yes and in doing seems to be in clear violation of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.

Read the LAW

Does HB 2 eliminate any state law claim for wrongful termination of an employee on the basis of the color of a person's skin?

Yes. The last sentence of section 143-422.3 does so explicitly. And Representative Bishop was forced to admit that in committee and on the floor of the House. Now only Mississippi and North Carolina provide no state law remedy for any type of employment discrimination.

Does HB 2 eliminate any state law claim for discrimination in the workplace on the basis of national origin or ethnicity?Yes.

Does HB 2 eliminate the existing state law remedy that now protects (but no longer will) a Christian who has been terminated from their job on the basis of religion?

Yes. 143-422.2 specifically states: "The regulation of discriminatory practices in employment is properly an issue of general, statewide concern, such that this Article and other applicable provisions of the General Statutes supersede and preempt any ordinance, regulation, resolution, or policy adopted or imposed by a unit of local government or other political subdivision of the State that regulates or imposes any requirement upon an employer pertaining to the regulation of discriminatory practices in employment, except such regulations applicable to personnel employed by that body that are not otherwise in conflict with State law."

It's an interesting provision because the next provision states, "This article does not create and shall not be construed to create or support a statutory or common-law private right of action, and no person may bring any civil action based upon the public policy expressed above."

So, essentially, the last sentence renders the first sentence impotent. A right you cannot enforce is not a right it is a platitude. In this case we effectively recognize the man in uniform, but then fail so much as to give him a passing salute.

The tg issue is just the latest in a long line of demands being hyped by the militant gay activists, aimed at ****ering existing culture in America. And replacing it with their aberrant values.

From the Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act ...../

"A facility designed or designated to be used by more than one person at a time where students may be in various states of undress in the presence of other persons. A multiple occupancy bathroom or changing facility may include, but is not limited to, a school restroom, locker room, changing room, or shower room."

This straight white man was attempting to film in the dressing room ---NOT ---- the bathroom. Get a better news source.

BRENTWOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) -

An O'Fallon, Missouri man was arrested on April 23, 2015 after allegedly secretly filming women in a Target dressing room.

Matthew Foerstel, 26, faces felony charges for invasion of privacy in the second degree and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Foerstel has a plea hearing on Monday, May 2, 2016.

The Brentwood Police Department arrested Foerstel on April 23 after he allegedly held a camera phone under a dressing room door while a female shopper tried on swim suits at the Target store in Brentwood.

An officer went to Ranken Technical College to place Foerstel under arrest and reportedly found him in possession of a loaded handgun.

In 2013, Foerstel was convicted of invasion of privacy in St. Charles County for "knowingly and intentionally" filming an 11-year-old girl while she was partially nude inside a department store dressing room.

Foerstel served a one year sentence for the offense in the St. Charles County Jail.

The charlotte mayor doesnt think so Heels. However you are correct that the tg's will continue to use the restrooms just like they did before charlotte stirred this all up.

Talk about spin. I believe it was the GOP in the capital that actually stirred this up.

There is no way to enforce the law. Most of the TG people that you are so afraid of, will still continue to use the bathroom they choose. There's nothing you can do about it, unless you want to stand and check everyone's birth certificate as they go in the restroom.

The Wife's and daughters you are so concerned about.... Now can't sue for discrimination in state court. We have had no issues of TG problems in the bathrooms in NC.... But there are lots of discrimination still.

Your ignorance sets women back as well as other minorities. This provision is the one that has most companies upset. The law is an attack on everyone, but the bathroom portion is the this that stirs up the ignorance amongst voters.

HB2 shows concern and responsibility for those who are innocent, helpless, etc. So whats wrong with that? All this was originally started by perverts, pedophiles and sex maniacs so they could have more freedom to do what they want. Then it got turned into a bid for gays and transgenders to get more rights. Gays and transgenders were used by the perverts, pedophiles and sex maniacs to push their agenda. We should protect and defend all those who are helpless and innocent, women and children. So what is wrong with protecting children??????

The governor proposed a compromise last week to Charlotte. He said if Charlotte drops their law, the State would drop HB2. Back to the way it used to be. Everyone is happy.

The Charlotte posted mayor said no. She needs to be impeached.
